Nice friendly owner and staff but oh.....(sorry 'T' Bar) the steak and kidney pie menu needs a lot of work. The pastry was palid and limp instead of the much anticipated golden crusty pie I had been hoping for (perhaps partly due to reheating in a microwave instead of an oven?... a cardinal sin with pastry) The filling was devoid of kidney and the beef was almost a beef puree instead of the usual chunks of tender steak one expects to see in a steak pie. (see the photo of my own home baked steak pie for comparison) The mash was bland without seasoning and the meal was served with a thin instant gravy. I feel a little guilty posting such a critical review but these things are of little value if they are not a true reflection of our personal experience.

Friendly and quiet with air conditioning. The food is nice to look at and delicious to eat. The hamburger was excellent and the chicken-curry pie was large and tasty. The veggies were crisp and fresh, as were the french fries. Cold beer with a few non-Thai beers also available. Great service. Worth the trip. Closed on Mondays.

Been there yesterday, want to eat beef burger. the meat is expired and smelled bad. I not paid for this burger but no-one come for say sorry or something less.... Thai staff don't care customers

T Bar is one of the few successful and professionally run restaurants in Udonthani. The international and Thai menu is extensive. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. It's not a "formal" restaurant but rather a relaxed and casual place to dine in a friendly, spotlessly clean and air conditioned environment.
I have just returned home after consuming a large gammon steak with eggs and all the trimmings squeezed onto the even larger plate, absolutely delicious at any price, all for 190 baht. Amazing!
Highly recommended.

Clean ac bar with good western and thai food. Near to udon. Good friendly clientele with plenty of local knowledge. Regular 'not too serious' golf groups make all welcome. Mine host is a fountain of knowledge.

Outstanding for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their take away offerings, i.e. meat pies, sausages, ham and indian cuisine are not to be missed. The owners are welcoming, the staff friendly, the music is easy to listen to and enjoy and the prices are well below what I pay where I live now, Chiang Mai. Go there and you will not be dissapointed I guarantee it.
