It's really as its name said. It's a very grand hotel. The parking lot can hold about 2,000 cars, according to what the staff said. The room is large. The facilities are good. I think this is probably because the hotel seems to have been through a renovation recently. It's really worth the price.

Enjoy a day at the pool for 60 baht. Drinks and food available poolside. Never a crowd.

The rooms were very large and clean, and the pool was lovely. Only con would be that 5 out of 6 of the ladies behind the hotel lobby desk were not polite at all and could barely speak english. Other than those ladies, everyone else was lovely.

Fairly standard accommodation in an aging hotel on the perimeter of the city. Breakfast is ok and there is some live music entertainment in the reception area. It's good value for money and ok for a stopover if you have a car and it's not too far to the airport. Definitely not the place to stay if you want to enjoy the city centre or be near to restuarants and bars.
