As these kinds of supercenter/grocery/shopping experiences go, Makro is just fine. They usually have plenty of cashiers working, the prices are often the cheapest in town, and there is a massive array of items to choose from.

GREAT competition for Lotus and Big C. Grocery area is especially good. Produce weigh-is confusing the first time but watching others gives you the clues you need. Their seafood selection is great and they will filet your fish properly. Everything looks fresh and clean. The day I went was some sort of food exhibit and there were 20 or 30 vendors lined up inside along an aisle. I got a good pizza and the best coffee I've had in Thailand (from Takai Cafe), maybe anywhere. I went back for a second and third cup, it was so good. I drink just coffee, no cream or sugar, and I enjoyed that coffee immensely.

They lost one point, because relocating things. I spend 20 minutes using known placements. It takes sometimes one hour after reloting. Just thinking Covid
and all future viruses. Mainly satisfied.

Just needed a few things, cause I'm just passing through.
I enjoy shopping, everything is clean,no bad smells in the meat department. Air conditioning. Prices are up some but that's to be expected
