Low price, close to UD Town and and unmatched prevention against insects/mosquito.
The rooms are on the simpler side and the bathroom is as warm as the outside temperature are. But everything is clean, no mosquito and the staff is super friendly.
As it's a apartment (daily rent is possible) they don't offer breakfast or free WiFi. But you can buy daily access to WiFi in the enclosed hospital (200thb month or something around 60thb/day)

If I am in Udon thani I always stay in aek udon apartment. It might not for everyone, special not if you want to stay close to the night life area from udon thani but it's not that far too

First of all it feels really strange to enter a hospital lobby to get the room key from nurses. Apartment, rooms and furnitures are all outdated. The air con unit sounded like a plane about to take off, I had to climb on top of a table to hit and move the cover of this super old unit to stop the noise, I managed to fix that issue. The other thing was the low quality bed mattress, there is not much padding to stop feeling the metal springs underneath your body. I would not recommend this place unless you are visiting a patient in the adjacent hospital.

Nice place to stay if you want to be close to the city and good service. Most importantly, the room is very clean.

Very limited parking (only about a dozen spaces).Driving around to find a space not much fun . Internet not working on floors 6 and 7. Only one lift working . once a good place to stay but seems to be going down hill rapidly

Old but cheap u0026 clean. Excellent manager who speaks very good English. Great mini mart, better u0026 cheaper than 7/11. Built onto the hospital, which can be convenient although the hospital is much more expensive. What is badly needed though is a swimming pool. With Udon being inland u0026 getting up to 45 degrees with very few places to swim, a pool is a virtual necessity for westerners.

Nice cheap place to stay if you want to be close to the city. Got everything you need, not luxury but super clean and just across the road from UD town and 8-10mins walk from central plaza. Has a convenience shop and Su0026P inside for coffee. Best thing about it is its super secure, 24hr security because its attached to the hospital. Con: internet isn't free, only good if you've got an internet SIM and don't need free wifi
