1 star is too much for this place
The worst Japanese I have had in my life
Gyoza was like it'd been deep fried for thousand of times
Rice was cold, maybe their could use a rice cooker to warm up their rice?
Sashimi was not fresh that I didnt dare to try
I ordered fish that took so long to come and it came half warm half cold, their microwave was broken I reckon
The only good things was miso soup that look freshly made, boiled water freshly mixed with miso powder, tasted very weak though.

DON'T waste your money here

The place is not too big but very suitable fow a small dinner or sushi lunchtime. I'm sure if you make arrangements then they would accommodate for a larger table. Taste of the sushi is excellent and the price is about average. The buffet deals make it worthwhile

Excellent japanese restaurant. During 2 month in Ubon I went there about a dozend times and always loved it. The buffets they offer are great deals. Pay a fixed price and eat for 2 hours as much as you want. There are also great lunch offers.

The price has gotten too expensive for what you get. 800 baht per head now. The Hotate shell is NOT FRESH. Very bad odor. It ruined the whole meal. Used to be good Japanese for Ubon and good price (before only 599). Too bad for raising the price and lowering the quality.

It looks better than it tastes. The Sashimi is nearly tasteless (and we tried all), the other stuff has too much sweet mayonaise. We are Sushi lovers and were really disappointed. Good that we live in Chiang Mai with some really good Sushi restaurants.

Aroi is the best!!! I eat here every time I am in Ubon. It's either aroi or mattsu (another place with sushi) this one is superior quality at a great price...mattsu is superior quality with a exclusive frame at a higher price. Try both!

Very fine choice of Japanese food, either a la carte or all you can eat buffet; friendly and promptly service. Prices are in the range. I would repeat for sure.
