Khao Bin Cave is located in Moo 2, Tambon Hin Kong, Amphoe Mueang Ratchaburi, Chang Wat Ratchaburi, on the Highway 3087 ( Ratchaburi-Chom Bueng ), approximately 20 kilometers away from Ratchaburi city. Situated in the National Reserved Forest with the peak is 272 meters ( Mean Sea Level or MSL ), 5 meters height at the entrance and 100 meters of depth, totally area inside the cave are 5 rais ( 2 acres, 1 acreu003d2.5 rais ) under Tambon Hinkong Admiration Office ‘s responsibility. Due to no hold connect to outside air, they put electric fans to decrease temperatures so as not too much warm and have wind circulation including light show from colored fluorescent to give beautiful scenery and easily see pedestrians for safety purposes, which take around 30-45 minutes walk. Normally like others caves, enormous stalactites and stalagmites from natural creation, formulations of pictures depended on each visitor’s imagination such as animals, places, birds, flowers etc. For this cave, they named totally 8 rooms after the stalactites and stalagmites ‘ formation that is their imagination. The 1st room named “ Visitor Hall “ , the 2 nd room named “ Siva Sathan “ ( Siva refer to Hindu Deity, Sathan means place ), the 3 rd room named “ Tharn Anodat “ ( Tharn means stream, Anodat means a pond of totally 7 ponds in the Himmapan forest refered to the literature and belief of three worlds ( earth, heaven and hell ) based on moral precept of Buddhism and Hindu), the 4 th room named “ Sakunchat Kuha “ ( Sakunchat means bird, Kuha means cave or arched space), the 5 th room named “ Deva Sapha Samosorn Sathan “ ( Deva means god or deity in Buddhism or Hindu, Sapha means council, Samosorn means club or join together or congregation, Sathan means place ), the 6 th room named “ Kinnorn Thatsana “ ( Kinnorn means mythical creature in Himmapan forest which upper part is human but the lover part is bird based on the literature and belief of Buddhism and Hindu, Thatsana means watch or see ), the 7 room named “ Prueksa Himmapan “ ( Prueksa means tree or plant or flora, Himmapan referred to the aforementioned paragraph), the 8 th room named “ Uthayan Thuaythep “ ( Uthayan means park, Thuythep means choir of angels ). Admission fee cost $ 0.8 for adult and $ 0.3 for children ( foreigner ) and $ 0.6 for Thai.
