Very beautiful buildings, nice grounds. Kids were done for the day before making it to here, but I enjoyed climbing to the top to see the relic and also admire the view. I can't compare to other temples, as this was our one day out and about (and it was cut short by cranky kids), but it's worth at least 30 minutes to look around.

What a beautiful temple complex, amazing to walk around, and if you go there at 530pm you can see the monks praying. Highly recommended if you're in Phuket to pay your respects and visit here. Very tranquil and idyllic!

A beautiful temple in the true Thai tradition. Beautifully maintained and spacious with garden. Other than all that swimming and canoeing and island hopping, it's nice to also get to learn about the Thai culture and its national religion.

A religious place for tge practising Buddhists as well as those who wish to find about the religion. Old, well carved buildings of temples. Exquisitely laid out gardens and lotus pools. Wide variety of orchids. Open parking. Shopping arcade with toilets. Overall a pious place.

A Canadian Tourist Review: Wat Chalong is a really cool temple complex in Phuket. We didn't plan to come here, but we got a discount because our driver would charge us 1000 baht to go to Big Buddha or 1200 baht to visit Big Buddha AND Wat Chalong in a 3 hour span. It was definitely worth the extra 200 baht. There are four shrines to enter. One has stairs leading up to a narrow but decent view of the complex. One shrine is very small with monk statues inside. One shrine is used to light incense and candles. The fourth one was closed for the day.

There is also a view of the water about 200 meters away from the shrines. Lots of birds and large lizards hang out here!

Highly recommend!

Also, free entry everywhere!
