Although the breakfast ist the absolute minimum, the shower proceeds not much water and its a bit loud I'm happy with the hostel.
The rooms themselves are nice and clean and the location is great, you can reach every part of the island very fast.
And to be honest, what do you expect for ten bucks a night?
If your budget is small, better spend the money on activities and food :)

I actually really loved this hostel-ish place. My room was like a studio, with a bathroom and a small fridge. The neighborhood was cool too, with the coffee cycle cafe, and the vegan junkie place down the street.

Pros: The manager and Staff are very friendly and knows English. They help with travel package and information of nearby places. Provided us complimentary breakfast, the dinning was small but good equipped to use by your own.
Room were spacious and clean, bathroom has hot water and was clean. Also hotel has Free wifi.
The place is very close to sea port, but there's no beach there.

Manager kept a good room that has good view of hills for us.

Few cons:
Far away from city, everything closes by 6:30 pm. So many bars nearby which causes loud music and also very close to road, loud noises of traffic. No night life here except the bars.
Transportation services in Phuket is very expensive, renting bike is the cheapest option. There are plenty of bike rent service near the hotel.

Overall experience on this hotel was great.

Such a good place to stay. The dormitory and the bathroom are clean and daily checked, there's a small and comfy living room and the staff is kind and helpfull. The place is close to the pier and have all accomodations around (restaurants, bars, supermarket) but far from the city center. That said you can rent a motorbike for 250 baht per day and be in Phuket town or on one of the beaches around in no time. Definitly recommend it.

We had a family of 7 adults on a private boat for full day of deep sea fishing. Was set up wonderfully and we barely had to lift a finger. For a quite time if year we caught 5 tunas with 4 before lunch. Lunch was amazing and delicious, hats off to our chef.
Would definately recommend Joy, Tom and Jerry were all lovely.

Clean hostel with spacious rooms (I was in a deluxe room for three guests).
The staff js very friendly and the hostel is located on a street with a lot of restaurants around and a massage center next door. Also very close to the pier.
