Best restaurant in Kata. Just fantastic in every way, couldn’t fault it. The stanadard of food is exquisite, we came here all week as the prices are very very low. 100B for most mains and drinks under 50B. The staff are so polite! The place is always clean, near the beach, could not recommend highly enough

Came here a couple times for breakfast, lunch, and diner. Food was always great and tasty. Good prices and employees are very friendly. I would recommend this place.

Nice personal and good food. Interesting place for watching the traffic passing by, due to that very loud!

Very good little restaurant. I admire their effort during this time. Most restos in the area are closed, but outdoor opens everyday (except Wednesday), making it a very reliable go-to. They've also printed a special menu with fewer choices and cheaper prices than normal times. This is much preferred over others that give you the full menu, but then say "no have" every other time you try to order. Pizza Bolognese and the Curry fried rice were our favorite dishes. Salmon steak and chicken satay were a little on the dry side. Cocktails and wine are ridiculously cheap. Service is first rate.

Conveniently located restaurant near Kata beach. Prices are moderately high. Food served in generous portions and was ok. Opens at 10.30am

[update June 2022] Came back here for desserts and later drinks. Enjoyed the mango sticky rice.

This place became a firm favourite of ours during our stay in Kata. We tried Thai dishes as well as a few dishes from the grill section and they were all delicious. The vegetable pad thai was my favourite Thai dish (very cheap as well) but the grilled meat was cooked with care, not at all dry, and aerved with some tasty sauces too.The crepe suzette was also a dessert highlight. The staff hereare super friendly and we were very glad to happen upon this place. Good for multiple meals and varied dining

At least in the COVID era, the menu is a bland assortment of ready-to-thaw foods. It’s sad, but many other local restaurants have managed to move forward with limited-but-still-freshly-cooked menus. The owner of ‘Outdoor Restaurant’ should have taken this route. As of right now, the food is barely edible.
