Love the experience here. The staffs and owners really contributed a lot, made it a fun night indeed. The food menu here is not a typical Italian you could easily find in Thailand. Ingredients of every dish was fresh and quality. Just overall the taste was too bland for me, except the creme bulee which was awesome.

One of the best places in Phuket!
Nice atmosphere, friendly and very attentive staff.
We ordered octopus salad, smoked mozzarella appetizer, lobster pasta, and for dessert tiramisu and warm apple tart - all dishes were very tasty, great combination of flavors!
Delicious house wine and really great coffee.
It's not cheap, but it's really worth it.

We went here after hearing a lot about the restaurant and the food.
The question is, do I rate this based on a Thai Italian restaurant or a real Italian restaurant as we have experienced in Italy?
We ordered the Vongole and squid ink pasta. The vongole was a disappointment as it had a bit of sand in it. The squid ink pasta was nothing special, I have tasted better in Brooklyn

The tiramisu was amazing and so were the apps, both being salads.

The service less than mediocre for a Michelin star restaurant, they were busy taking care of larger tables and paid less attention to us.
Well, I rated it as an Italian restaurant.

It was a truely enjoyable night, exquisite cuisine, impeccable service with attention to details . The restaurant is small, unique and cosy with brilliant vintage vibe. My pasta with black truffle was scrumptious and my husband just loved the foie gras (he ordered the second !)and Osso Bucco. But it was the dessert that stole the show ! The lovely young lady brought out Tiramisu in a separate tray and presented it at the table with all the trimmings. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming , just like home coming for a beautiful family meal. A very pleasant memory that will last with us for a long long time . We will be back . Thanks again.

We were surprised to find such a cozy place in Italian style around Phuket town. Service and food were amazing! Owner is very friendly . Feels like in Italian restaurant in Roma.Recommend!

The must in Phuket! I tried to book many times and I finally did it.

Must try lobster pasta, scallop salad, veal and apply tart!

Lovely owners and restaurant itself. Staffs are very friendly.

Must come back soon when in Phuket!

It was our first time staying in a hotel in Phuket town for seven days. Therefore, we have a chance to explore every corner to find where the best food is. La Gaetana is a gem and one of those on Google Maps with great comments. Not knowing it was mentioned in the Michelin Guide, we walked in on a busy Sunday night without a reservation. Grateful that we could be arranged with a table finally. Inside, the Sino-Portuguese interior was very cosy, though not big. In short, I was happy with my Beef Carpaccio and Tigar pawn pasta. The highlight was when the Tiramisu Dessert was topped with cocoa powder by the chef-owner Gianni in front of us.
