Whenever family or friend is visiting Phuket, we'll always welcome them with freshly caught seafood at Rawai. Years ago this restaurant wasn't as popular as it is now. Their cooking is good, tastes great, but the highlight is the fresh ingredients from the local fisherman vendors across the street. Here you have the choice of ordering from the restaurant's menu, or buy your own seafood and have them cook for you. The latter is what we always do. They will charge you a cooking fee per your ingredient's weight. Staffs are okay, seafood sauce is also free of charge. Definitely worth every baht we spent.

Repeat or Not…Repeat. Only tried this restaurant because of the reviews. There are quite a number to choose from as they are all across from the live seafood stalls. I have a very sensitive stomach but I did not get sick, even eating the lobster sashimi prepared from here so I think the kitchen is quite sanitary. The menu is quite overwhelming the first time here but was much more familiar during visit #5 ????. You buy the seafood from across the road and bring here for them to prepare. If you want lobster sashimi, only buy the live ones. Compared to the States, 1/4 the price. Must try if you like raw seafood. The garlic fried rice is exceptional. Try a conch, the thing in a big seashell. Raw is nice and crunchy. Cooked with garlic and butter is nice as well.

Tried a few Resturaunts here, I feel this restaurant cooks to my liking. 100baht for each KG of seafood. I love their plain garlic fried rice, simply fragrant u0026 very gluttony feel in texture. Tamarind says Goes really well with the squids u0026 salt u0026 pepper with mantis shrimps are always all time favourite. Purchase your seafood from random stores facing the restaurant. Not much bargains can be done, price of seafood every stores are about the same. A luxury choices of lobsters sashimi, mantis shrimps, cuttlefish, conch, sea grapes,bamboo shrimps, fried rice, morning glory, papaya salad u0026 beers, all adding not exceeding 3000baht

Buy seafood fresh and live across the lane and bring it here to cook for you. We had mantis shrimp with black pepper sauce and lobster with yellow curry. Seafood was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the sauces were amazing. Recommended to us by Chad from our hotel, and well worth the drive!

A must visit touristy spot but over touristy if you got what I meant. Prices are little on the high side because of tourist attraction spot but food not bad. We choose this restaurant because it was recommended by vloggers. If you are driving do drive in the small alley where all the seafood stalls reside, there are a huge open parking space inside.

Just wow, one of the best meals I've had in Thailand.
Everything was cooked to perfection!
We had the fried fish with lemongrass sauce and garlic grilled shrimp.
We will come back here ????

Just learned that we could just buy fresh seafood from the market outside and made the restaurant cooked for us! We had super fresh seafood with reasonable price today! The service can be improved though I know it was super busy there.
