This restaurant is such a gem! Don’t miss it, as there are many other restaurants on the strip closer to the beach but this restaurant is the best we ate at in Thailand!

The service was wonderful, the woman running the restaurant was so lovely. They gave us a free garlic bread appetizer, and free mango sticky rice for dessert. We thought this was a nice welcome gesture for our first night there, but it was offered each night we went back. We had many items off the menu and all was delicious! Also so inexpensive for the value!

A real gem! Located just across the road from the Beyond Resort Karon. Free garlic bread, water on arrival and free fruit to end the meal. Good size menu along with promotions; European food available if that's your thing in Thailand.

We tried five Thai dishes, all freshly prepared, well priced and delicious. The Tom yum and pineapple rice were stand out.

Staff are friendly and professional. The manager took time to speak with us and give Thai recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Some of the most humble and kind service I've ever recieved. Such a wonderful nice guy.

Lots of daily specials available, the schnitzel caught my eye and was delicious.

Nice place to sit and people watch although it's very quiet. Covid has really hurt this area. Good to support a local independent and not a chain

Lovely spot! The complimentary water, garlic bread, and fresh fruit is such a homey touch! The food was delicious and the service was great. The pineapple chicken salad was fantastic!! Would definitely eat here again ????

Echoing the other reviews - Kalika is definitely a must go if you're in the area.

Very reasonable pricing for huge portions, we ordered the fried calamari that came in a mountain on the plate ( which although I expected to be large given it's 250 baht but I didn't expect it to be that much!). Other food such as the Tom yum goong was delicious, as well as the stir fried vegetables - they aren't too salty like what I've had in a few other places.

The owner is an extremely friendly lady that makes you feel at home - they seem to be quite short staffed now given the wait for the food was a little long but they definitely do much to make the wait seem that much shorter, giving you free garlic bread at the start, and also making the end of the meal that much more memorable with a free fruit platter and mango sticky rice on the house.

Pricing is very fair - we ordered noodle soup, Tom yum goong, vegetables and the mountain of calamari for about 550 baht. This was a huge portion for 2 already, and if we didn't order the calamari it would have been 300 baht - very fair prices in my opinion

All-in-all, Kalika is a must go hands down. If you don't believe me, locals also walk in to sit and eat or buy takeaway, so that should be enough proof for you that this place is legit in both taste and pricing!

One of the best chicken basil rice i had in my life in Thailand. This will definitely satisfy any hunger pang and craving, and even when you are not very hungry. Excellent service with big smiles too from the stall keepers!

We (and many others) had to wait very long for the food to arrive. When it finally did it was below average and the shrimp was still raw.

The garlic bread at the start was a nice touch, but don't let it fool you. There is much better Thai food out there.
