A hidden pearl. I have lived here for 15 years and managed to miss this amazing place all this time. Tried the La Potence with NZ beef, it was so good. The Chef and owner, Monsieur Alain is very friendly and can advise what is good to eat with what. I will go there again, that is foe sure.

Most definitely the best steak house around! The steak is cook to perfection. A place to visit for all the meat lover. No need gravy or any sauce... just the meat and these sauteed potatoes!! And if you feel like having a desert: go for Profiterolles and you won't regret! My kind of place...

Deception and rudeness! Caution!
When they bring you an invoice, there is an additional VAT.
At first you do not understand what the catch is.
But did you see somewhere in restaurants, so that VAT would be added on top of the final bill already ?!
When there are a lot of positions in the menu or a big company, you look at the final amount in the bill and pay it, without thinking that there may be a deception.
You make a remark - the mood and tone of the conversation of the Thai staff is greatly changed by rudeness and cry. They already bring an OTHER menu, where there is a line about "Prices are shown without VAT", but the first menu brought was without this line. And I repeat, I have never seen such a deception before.
The chief of the restaurant sits in the corner and ignores the situation, the deception is planned.
Okay, since this is the situation, you go talk to the boss. There is also a cry, as if in every restaurant around the VAT on top goes to every bill, which is not true.
Then, at great mercy, you can suddenly not pay it.
Unfortunately, this is a very unpleasant experience, so we strongly do not recommend this restaurant to visit. Be attentive and careful.

Answer:
Nowhere I saw that VAT is excluded in restaurant prices. Only in B2B Business will be used net price + VAT. In every restaurant in menu there are VAT included!
You are tricky your customer! Please don't think your guests are stupid. Good luck in your dirty business. Have the courage to admit the truth, apologize and don't cry to your customers

Good place to chill. They might wanna redo the place for a more modern look and feel.
