It was good overall good experience. The service was good. Wish the staff would introduce us to the property a bit more. Like we didn’t know they have a pool or gym till we googled it. I can’t say much since I stayed only a night. However this review is for the staff to improve. Not sure because this is post-Covid the room is a bit dusty and worn. The tub area is a bit dusty and not good for relaxation. The lotion was expired, the slippers were used and dirty.I didn’t use the bathrobe because I wasn’t sure it is dusty or not . There are minor issues however for the price I expect a bit cleaner room.

Very beautiful old fashion hotel with extremely comfortable king beds.
We had excellent food for diner. Breakfast was average.
The small pool outside should be clean and the car park improved but overall, it's nice place to stay at Phitsanulok

The hotel provides special experience but here is what has become worse since covid:
The pool - unusable, full of bird dropping. Not okay, risks illness
Fruit flies swarm over the salad bar at breakfast - this should be obvious to staff and easy to fix
Slippers in the room - not cleaned from previous use
Barely any hot water to the bathtub
Low water pressure
Staff is a lot more slack than before, acceptable though
These comments are more for the hotel staff rather than warnings for guests. I stayed here a lot in the past and observe it has become a bit worn, especially outside (as expected due to covid) but still offers really lovely comfy rooms and such a rich experience. I hope they improve maintenance.

The grounds are very beautiful, a nice pool, and best of all, the beds are VERY comfortable. Definitely recommend spending the night here. Although, car parking is a bit limited, so keep that in mind if coming by car.

Masks: 1/5 (staff only wore when the boss man was around). Guests did whatever they wanted.

Beautiful and luxurious hotel.
++ Thai traditional and modern luxury mix, amazing furnishings in the room, nice atmosphere and museum in the hotel, a nice birthday 'cake' was delivered complimentary with a humble request for something special. Bellboy staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathtub in the room is nice, yet plastic. Children were very noisy next door so staff moved us to a different quieter room.

-- a few small issues made it less than perfect. Despite advertising everywhere for COVID safety, no staff wore masks or demonstrated social distancing. Reception staff were cold and unfriendly, opposite to what I read from reviews. Room key didn't work on the second day and parking lot is very small so I had to park in an open air parking lot near the main road, didn't feel so secure but there was a security guard that told us not to worry.

What an amazing place. This truly epitomizes what a boutique hotel is. Great attention was put into every detail. You are transported back in time to old Thailand as you enjoy the breezy walkways, beautiful grounds, and intricate artwork. Rooms are huge and well appointed. Plenty of food options on site too. Good location.

Hotel room and grounds are quite nice and photogenic. But like another resort my wife and I stayed at on this road trip breakfast buffet sucked on quality and variety. Salad consisted of shredded cabbage, some leafy greens, minature tomatos and tasteless dressings. Juice was from a carton, egg benedict was poached eggs on bread (cold), fruit was limp and had set out from 6am (I guess) abd kow tom moo was thick and cold. Staff friendly and helpful. We had also eated at main restaurant the evening before where we paid 800 baht for tasteless greasy chicken wings and a crab curry. We left most of this uneaten. Again main hotel staff were great and room was as advertised. Try to negotiate rate without breakfast and go eat at nearby 7-11.
