Good food and environment. Staff is a bit slow however it is forgiveable ????

I have visited the “Cho Malee” in Phitsanulok a few times because I like the open air seating which reminds me of a German Biergarten: nicely arranged tables, clean ambiance under green trees - which is a rare find in rural Thailand. It’s really enjoyable, particularly in the not-so-hot months of the year.

If you prefer to sit in an air conditioned room you also have the opportunity to do that. Also, a separate café is part of the venue.

The dishes we ordered, though, were not tasty at all. Whatever the chef tried to do with the food and the spices seemed to be mostly wrong.

The staff was okay.

When the pandemic is calming down and the serving of alcohol is allowed once more, I might give it another chance and go back there with my friends and just enjoy a few glasses of beer.

Excellent food, service, menu. Moderate prices, pleasant atmosphere for family dining. One of my favorites in the Phitsanulok area.
