Thai food here is nice, go for the suggested ones. The price is in the middle range. The atmosphere is casual. Need improvement in service, somehow order is not made correctly sometime.

Don’t be fooled by this being just another restaurant by the street look. Yes, it may be located in what look like a makeshift area next to a driving range and night market, the parking seems haphazard and limited, but the food here is true restaurant quality. There were complimentary thin cookies for our sampling, it had a tiny portion of Pla Ra on it. Kind of a fusion taste I will say, its for us to sample their famous produce. Pla Ra is fermented fish, a very Thai thing. The Hor Mok Talay (seafood curry custard) was baked in a fresh coconut, infused with its own sweet juices. Delicate pieces of generous prawns, tender slices of coconut flesh, all cooked to perfection. There was a small ordeal which the restaurant professionally corrected. Fried fish was cooked in a hurry and it was raw on the inside. After voicing out to them, they replaced the dish with a whole new freshly made one. This was the fried Pla Chon (snake head fish) in Thai herbs. It was crispy on the outside, doused in fresh herby flavors and tender white on the inside. Well done. Even the simple fried rice was of a better quality, though not the best, it was tasty compared to many places I have been to. It was the evening, a handful of guests, some with kids. A nice family restaurant.
