So... I believe that eating local cuisine is one of the best ways to experience a city or country.

I think that one of the best meals one can eat in Bangkok is the roast chicken at Nittaya Kai Yang. Seriously. I have been here many times, and the food is consistently perfect. Other than my mom’s roast chicken, this is the best roast chicken I have ever eaten... and I don’t have the words to properly describe the taste. It’s just so... freaking delicious!

There is no roast chicken in the world that comes even remotely close to this roast chicken. To paraphrase Quentin Tarantino: If you’re gonna compare a Nittaya Kai Yang roast chicken... you compare it to every other roast chicken ever made - wasn’t made - by Nittaya Kai Yang. In other words... if you like roast chicken, then you must add this to your bucket list.

I reluctantly post this because I want to make sure I can always get a table... but... if you ever come to Bangkok then you must come here and order the roast chicken. You will thank me. (Tell them that Todd sent you.)

I am amazed that the Michelin Guide hasn’t awarded them a star yet.

Seriously one of the best roast chickens I have ever eaten. If you are close by, you must try it.

Note: this is not like a “western chicken”. These are smaller and much tastier.

Very good service, decent food and ample parking. Everything was clean and neat.

The roast chicken, as its namesake, is slightly below average which was disappointing. The deep fried fish on the other hand was fantastic. Crunchy, salty and spicy even after being served for a while.

However the locals frequent this joint and the cuisine served is very local. Definitely worth a try.

Various main meal n dessert. Easy parking with helpers. Nice facilities in the restaurant as calling system n strong air condition

Good fast northeastern style food. Grilled chicken and Som-Tum are the main dishes. Sometimes is also very good. Good service. Have onsite parking. Easily spotted from the road (Thai sign)

A very popular restaurant among Thai.

Large variety on "Esan" food.
Famous dish is the grilled chicken.
Food is tasty.

Place is clean
Toilets are very clean.

The food wise, it is superb. The service wise, well, quick bcoz there are so many staff but its quality makes the star goes down from 5 to 4.
