One of the better museums in Thailand. A wide range of artifacts and displays that, when combined, provide much insight into Southern Thailand's history and cultures.

it’s my first time to visit the National Museum of Nakhon Si Thammarat, it’s a nice place that you can learn an history and culture of the south of Thailand

Exhibits are rather interesting. Learnt more about local culture and practice.
Plenty of free parking.
Good visit. Recommended.

Recently renovated, still finishing some parts. Interesting collection of Buddha's statues and insight on the history of the region. Price skyrocketed to 150THB but you can get an unofficial group discount if asking (we got 2 for 1).

Its a great little museum that covers the history of the district, not to be confused with the museum at the wat. Phra mahathat woramahaviharn

Easy for parking.
Good visit to try to understand the local history and culture.
Set aside a couple of hours for this visit
