Little bar by the lake, very nice Christmas/ winter feeling as temperature dropped to around 14⁰c.

Luckily they do flaming vodka shots and have a log wood camp fire to keep you warm. ????

Worth a visit. Pretty cheap too.

Little more than a roadside eatery; very simple 'dining tables' alfresco with water side views. Excellent variety of classic Thai food, including papaya salad

You are either lucky, like us, and have the entire bungalow park for yourself or you happen to have company parties around you with karaoke till late ate night. Or so I read elsewhere.
The bungalows are roomy and situated around a small pool. The pools aren't super clean, but good enough that I let my kids swim in it without any trouble.
Staff is friendly but there's not a lot around. We haven't tried breakfast as we understood that it wasn't worth the trouble. There's a fridge, a microwave and a water cooker in the bungalow with plates and cups for four.
Aircon is fine, bathroom is a bit worn but functional. Water pressure isn't good enough to fill the huge bath within reasonable time, but the shower was okay.
