I really wanted to see and experience something with the children other than temples and walking through cities. So I looked around on Google Maps to see what attractions there were for children in the area. Without further ado, we went to this really enchantingly beautiful museum. It's not very big and not comparable with European dinosaur museums - but it doesn't have to be and shouldn't be. The grounds are beautifully designed and very child-friendly. You get a very friendly welcome at reception. What was a we-oh surprise was the question about the vaccination certificates. Of course, European certificates are difficult to understand. But even that was no problem after a short translation. After that, it started right away. In each room there were short explanatory films. About how the earth and dinos were formed, how petrified wood was formed and then also how and why the dinos died out. The films are of course in Thai. It would be nice to have English subtitles for tourists like me. But you can understand most of it that way. After the films, there were different themed rooms - depending on the video theme - where you could look at the exhibits. The children and also we adults had. In any case, it was a really nice stay.
