It's an old hotel that amazingly some upgrades have been made. The bathroom has been modernized, and the toilet flushes powerfully.
Points are lost as the a/c isn't good. It ran for part of the night before the cool air stopped blowing into the room. Even before it stopped being cool, it really wasn't all that cool. Also because it's cheap, 600 baht, there are lots of tour groups, thus when you go for breakfast there might be no seats left.
The wifi was adiquate, and the TV had a good number of movie channels, some in English.
But still I will stay here again, as I like the location, and the nearby amenities. 600 baht is a fair price for a room.
