Located in Khao Yai National Park, this is just one of the many picturesque spots. There are some eating stalls located inside the park. But do beware of the macaques!! Some are as big as baboons. They are not afraid of visitors and are aggressive. They will go into vehicles to steal things. Some jumped onto the back of a truck with lots of people on it. The only people that they recognize and are afraid of are the park rangers. They will make their rounds in the park to make sure that the visitors are not harmed.

A nice short trail leading to a cliff overseeing the valley. It's about 30 mins drive from the main road and on the way to the park's highest peak. If you have a spare hour or so, it'd worth a detour.

The highest point of Khao Yai National Park managed by Royal Thai Air Force. Spectacular views, nice food and coffee and officially the cleanest air in Thailand!

Nice view and a cafe that has omelette rice. Bring your own snacks not much food around here until khao Yai.

It’s a wonderful view in top of the hill. There is coffee shop and small food stall. After a long drive you will relax and enjoy the scenery with coffee. Who love to drive, this place for them.

Another good view from the Khao Yai montain. Public restrooms are available. A bit too crowded during the weekend, especially during the outspread of Covid. Even thought there is an official office up there, don't like the big motorcycles roaring around the area as the noise may disturb the wild animals.

Due to the height if the mountain (approximately 1300 m) the air at the place is much cooler. View is nice, but can be blurred because of haze.
