I visited the Signature Dining Bakery Cafe nearby while staying in Dusit D2 Aonang from December 14 to 16. The reviews of TripAdvisor are different. Some people said it was delicious and others said it was not. Or some travelers said it tasteed good but it was expensive.

I visited here around 6 p.m. on December 15th. The owner and staff greeted each other kindly. I have traveled to Thailand for over 20 years and have traveled mostly from north to south of Thailand. Currently, I live in Bangkok and run a travel agency. The reviews on the Internet were so different that I thought a little bit about it when I first visited. I was thinking about going to cafe 8 next door but I visited here once.

When I visited, the staff said they would give me a 20% discount. I ordered Somtam Thai, stired cashew nuts with chicken, chicken sate, a bowl of rice, and a bottle of bottled water. When I ate the food, it tasted very good. The taste, quality, and ingredients of the food were about the same as those of a four-star or five star hotel. With a 20% discount, 420 baht came out. I think this price is excellent considering the amount, taste, and quality of food.

I think if somebody criticizes this restaurant it is probably because of the price of food. These days, the prie of Somtam is more than 60 baht in food court of Tesco lotus discount stores. It is clear that the price of food is not cheap I thought . Considering the amount, taste, and quality of food, there is no problem. The restaurant here is definitely a fancy meal that is completely different from street vendors, food courts, and cheap Thai restaurants, and the food ingredients are excellent.

If you are tamed by the cheap Padtai at Khaosan Road, the food of street vendors, and the food court at the shopping mall, it is hard to recommend a restaurant here. Compared to such places, this restaurant is definitely expensive. However, if you often visit hotel and high-end restaurants, you will agree that the price of food here is reasonable and the quality, taste and ingredients are relatively good.

I had a very so-so steak at this place on my last night in Ao Nang. Most of it was cooked to medium rare, per my request, but some of the thinner edge areas were medium. Understandable. My main complaint would be that it had a very weird taste. I think that it had been frozen before, and not for a little amount of time. The meat was also a bit tough. The accompanying vegetables were very nice though. The service was really friend too.

The place has an indoor and outdoor seating ..cocktails are hard liquor not available for lunch only beer ..the lamb steak was well done and delicious ..you can visit will not get disappointed.
They need to work on the airconditioning system..the place was hot..

The Thai Fried Chicken wings as well as a seafood spaghetti dish were in all honestly among the best I've tasted. Could not have been better

The interior is nice with ac.
In terms of the dishes themselves, the soups were microwaved, the main dishes didn't come together for the whole table, ordered my steak medium-well and it came rare in some parts and well done in others. The vegetables that came with the steak are cold.
The waitresses arent friendly at all but they do have good English.
Very overpriced for the area.

Interior is very nice, good place for pictures. Air conditioning is on point if you’re seeking refuge from the hot sun.

Food is average. Thai Tea is overly sweet, like way too sweet compared to the average Thai Teas.

Acai Bowl is not what you expect if you’re used to the sweet-ish purée/sorbet Acai.
It’s on the sour side, and very icy.

Service staff are courteous and can speak pretty good English, which is great for tourist who are non-Thai speaking or more comfortable in a English speaking setting.

But. Service is slow. Everything took ages to come out. There was barely any other customers, I would expect things to fly out faster than they did.

Price wise it’s on the more expensive side comparing to other restaurants in the vicinity. Considering it’s Thailand.
