This was our 6th hotel in Thailand and the least impressive one, from all perspectives. It is on a beautiful spot, but that’s it. The kindness and good service we receive in Thailand was gone here. It misses the charm of the other places. It is a busy resort, check in chaotic, I felt I was on a camping. The cots are in the need for a serious fresh up. Beach towels have holes, the man that brings the suitcases did not leave the room until tipped, there are no hand towels, mirror dirty, breakfast just so so. Overall, disappointing. Overrated.

Knowing the resort is fairly old I didn't have too many expectations but it still fell well short.
First the positive. The location is fantastic with access to both east and west beaches. The resort grounds are pleasant and mostly well manicured.
Now the negatives. The staff really need retraining and personality injections. Not all were but most are rude and/or unhelpful especially in the restaurant. The breakfast was woeful. The rooms are nothing like the pictures. We had a stagnant pond teeming with mosquitos at the entrance and that was just the start. No hot or even warm water. TV didn't work. Had to ask at reception 4 times before it was finally fixed. Jacuzzi takes about 6 hours to fill. Toilet doesn't flush properly. The middle pool looks very clean but the beach pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Ordered 4 drinks at the pool bar and they didn't have any of them. Asked if we took a beach bag and robes on check out. There were never any in the room to begin with.
It's a shame because it still does have potential despite its age and most of the problems are staff related so can be easily fixed but they don't seem to be interested in improving anything.

tl/dr: would not recommend and will not return, the hotel has a nice enough vibe but for the price is too cheaply done.

For us, this hotel was okay at best. The positives are for sure the location, the sunset view and the proximity to a nice street with a couple of restaurants. The breakfast is okay and from our few interactions, the staff are friendly.

However, I do not consider this a 4-star hotel. The rooms we stayed in looked wonderful in the pictures but turned out to be very cheaply done. None of the doors close properly and all of them have large gaps between, above and under them. The bathroom is worse than in most hostels, is hot and stinks. The towels had holes in them and the bed creaked with every movement. The pool is tiny compared to the size of the "resort" and the small number of lounge chairs are mostly reserved by 8:00. The reception staff were nice but their English made communication a bit difficult. Suffice to say we spent very little time in the hotel and will not return.

We booked two rooms at this property. The first room was a Private Cottage w/ Jacuzzi. Once we occuped the room we realized that the water to the jacuzzi was not working. The staff attempted to fill the Jacuzzi with the shower head. An hour u0026 half later the jacuzzi was filled.

The second room was a Luxury Pool Villa. This room was nice but the safe was having issues. We called the front desk multiple times and even went to the front desk to ask them to fix the safe. Even with the multiple requests the safe wasn't fixed.

When I approached the front desk about these issues and asked for a credit or partial refund for the jacuzzi room which was inoperable I was told that I had to contact the booking app that I made the reservation with.

This property lacks customer service and fails to resolve issues with their guests as in my experience. They would rather pass the buck than fix the issues when the guest is on site.

Paid £30 a night for an excellent room overlooking Railay East.

To the negative reviews... I had a great experience here, perfect location and pool, great service. Didn't eat anything other than breakfast, why you would I don't understand, there are great and much cheaper restaurants 5 mins away.

For the breakfast, it has the standard choice of western and Thai options and varies day by day.

The villa was amazing. Big, comfortably bed. Clean and cleaned daily. Nice and clean bathroom. Complimentary water/coffee/tea in the room. Amazing location. Nice swimming pools.

Jacuzzi needs some maintenance. Barely got some bubbles. But that's a minor inconvenience.
The 3 stars because they stuck in the middle-ages... Forcing you to let them write down your full credit card details? Even when all stay is confirmed and paid with credit card via booking.com? Thanks Revolut for single-use virtual cards. Wrote it down and scrapped immediately.

The resort is a lovely, well kept with attentive staff. Location is perfect with access to all the hangouts and of course the beaches around. Staff is friendly however few speak English which is not always helpful. One thing they can improve upon is the food and the options. Breakfast is just about ok...one needs to rely on eating outside to feel full. Both pools are clean and worth dipping into. Overall it was a nice experience and i would recommend the place to anyone looking for a nice break in Krabi.
