The Pookey Burger...
5/5 for the bun. It is perfect. Make no mistake.
5/5 for burger accoutrements... if you’ve never had cucumber on a burger, you need to get your life together.
Now for the beef... oh, the beef... sadly, I have to give the patty itself a 2/5. If the burger were called “Thursday at Mum’s,” it would have been a 5, but like another reviewer said, it does taste a lot like meatloaf. I think with a nice hot char by a pan fry it could be fixed.

Fries are what you should expect. Cooked just right, and you get just enough. 5/5

The prices seem fine, but then I remember how cheap everyone said the Thailand would be, and 300baht for a burger is about 1200¥... what I would pay for a life altering experience in the America.

Service was some of the best I’ve seen in Thailand. 5/5

I last came here two years ago, and the burger was out of this world good, like top 3 burgers of my life. I think that largely owed to the freshness and quality of the meat.

Got into town today and had my first dinner here. The drinks were pretty good (though you couldn't really stray from their menu) and service was friendly. But the burger... the burger I'd had dreams about, the burger I'd considered planning vacations to experience again... the burger was mediocre. The fixings were great, the fries were fine, but the meat was dry, falling apart (like reconstructed after cooking?) and fairly tasteless. It tasted more like a meatloaf than a burger - I think it saw the inside of an oven, not a stovetop. Maybe someone else made my burger this time, but it was a disappointment.

No disrespect meant to the owners and workers, who are all very nice.

I'm going to need time to mourn this loss, and to find a new dream to pursue.

Fresh burger - yes, but definitely not the best. It is a good and decent burger with fresh ingredients and having said that for sure better than many others. Hence, I would still recommend it if you really want to have a burger while staying in Thailand.

We were celebrating our family heritage. Had bangers u0026 mash, shepherds pie and Guinness. The food was great, staff was upbeat, courteous and prompt. Prices were moderate and worth it. The kids had a great time, too. Happy St Patty's to all. By the way, they have a Friday BBQ that is awesome, too.

Best burger I've ever had!!! I've tried a lot of burgers in Europe and the U.S., but this one was definitely by far the best one! The meat, thick and very tender, was just amazing! I can definitely recommend it to everyone who is staying in the area! While waiting for the meal, you can also spend some time at the pool table or playing darts.

Great location. On the main road, lose to several backpackers. The restaurant is quite large , with a pool table, 2 tv's to watch sporting events, and even boasts a book exchange! The menu offers a good choice of Thai and Western at reasonable prices.
There is a parking area attached and the staff are friendly and speak fluent English.

Food was pretty good. The chicken wings are flavorful and the burger was pretty good. The Thai food was also good but I'd recommend sticking to Western dishes if you come here. Service was also good. It is a bit far to walk to but worth it.
