First the negatives....This was my first time in a Yayoi Restaurant and probably my last. The window showed the usual plastic versions of the dishes they serve, which is like the perfect McDonald burgers that they show in their advertisement media. And just as in McDonalds the food did not live up to the advertisements. The pork steak in batter was more like pork fat in batter, see attached picture, it was really quite bad. I do understand that some people like fattier meat, I just don't. The restaurant and menus were a bit tatty.

The positives...the garlic fried rice was good as was the curry sauce I had with my pork. The staff were excellent, smiley and friendly.
