Wonderful for families, or for a solo lunch feast, this restaurant has been faithfully serving the area around the large KKU campus for decades.

Of course the grilled chicken is what makes this place famous (and the price is incredibly cheap), but I also highly recommend their SaiKrokEsan, the Esaan sour-rice-garlic sausage. Amazing.

Local recipes served here include an amazing Gaeng Ber (Gaeng Naw Mai), a Bamboo salad with YaNang liquid and home-made BlaRaa, full of local mushrooms, herbs, pumpkin, and water loofah. Amazing. Also great are their selection of banana leaf steamed/roasted 'Mok' dishes.

Prices are great, atmosphere is countryside style relaxed, and the location is comfortably situated directly next to the agricultural study areas of the university (very low noise, huge expanse of fields on 2 of the restaurants 4 sides).

Highly recommend this if you are near KKU University and looking for a place to have lunch.

This place is inside the university where you can drive and park there. Our dish was served quite fast, not more than 8-10 minutes after we made an order. Taste of the food was good. Also, they have non-aircon and aircon zone which you will be collected additional THB5 for the aircon zone.

One of the best Isaan restaurants in Khon Kaen. Delicious, reasonably priced, spacious and good service ????

Normally good grilled chicken and Som Tam. But be careful not to get the reheated chicken from the day before. Ask for fresh.
Then the nice looking Saigrok Isaan on the menu is not what you get. They serve a plate of crushed sausages with only some ginger, totally careless presentation. The complaint was brushed aside with a lie. Rather disrespectful to the customer. Disappointed.

Great food and super fast service. Within 2-5 minutes of ordering the food, it's served. I recommend reserving tables in advance as this place is very popular.

This is the place to go! If you are looking for a good quality of food with a fast service. Then this is your lunch location. You can order a good range of som tum salad along with lots of different bbq items. You will need to speak thai here. Also you might just bump into a Thai celebrity. Its quite the spot to go to.u200b
