- The place is quite strategic, not too far from Khon Kaen University. The estimated journey is less than 20 minutes using a private vehicle.

Atmosphere (3/7)
- Hot, arid, and lonely. Not many animals to see here. Be careful with animal droppings, as some animals are allowed to roam free.

Facilities (4/7)
Some corners or animal cages look unkempt. There are electric cars that are just for display. Artificial lake with green water. There are fountains and several landmarks that can be used as spots to take pictures. The toilet is near the entrance.

Price (4/7)
The price for local and international tourists is the same, namely 150 THB (adults). But for the treats given it seems fairly expensive. Visitors who want to provide animal feed must pay back.

Overall (4/7)
For those of you who want to learn about the animal world while sightseeing, this place can be an option.

Tip: Bring an umbrella or borrow one near the entrance, it will protect you from the hot sun. Come on a sunny day, to avoid the rain and mud from the zoo grounds. Don't forget to wear a mask and always have hand sanitizer ready.

Nothing to do much but it's good for kids to spend time here. The zoo is not big so basically about one hour just enough for kids to walk and feed animals. The veggies are free to grab before entering the zoo. Some animals here are free to walk around inside the area. You can park your car in front of the zoo.

Great place to go with the children... chance for them to see different animals from around the world.... unfortunately the previous night we had very heavy rain so it was a bit soggy underfoot...the staff were very pleasant and helpful..it isn't a big place but takes about an hour and a half to tour round the place....when you get your tickets at the entrance you are each given a small basket of vegetables to feed the animals...the animals are very tame so no need to worry about getting bitten or anything...great morning out

Prices have been raised a little as of October 2020. Kids are 50 baht and adults are 150 baht. This is still very worth it and fun for kids. The animals are treated well, but there are some that have to be kept in cages.

Enjoyed this little animal place with my family. Please note that it's only free entry for baby. Kids price is 75B. Adults is 100B. Animals food can be purchase at the entrance for 20B. They animal that is walking around is super friendly. Go there slightly late to catch the water fountain show at 7pm. Toilet and everything is super clean. Free parking too.

On the outskirts of Khon Kaen City, one can find this funky little spot. It is basically a mini zoo, with a focus on exotic mammals and birds. It was only 100 Baht admission ticket. And admirably, the same low pricing for local Thais and international vistors (farangs), which seems only fair, to me. There is tower walk, as well as some nice fountains and even a bit of a chill soundtrack, as an accompaniment as you tour the grounds. A very good value short excursion tourist option in Khon Kaen, Issan, Northeastern Thailand.

Very nice place,animals freely roaming about and kids can feed and pet them.Cafe good but fairly expensive.150 Baht entrance fee I thought reasonable but others would maybe disagree.
