A great new addition to the Khon Keen coffee and eats scene . Two levels cool .lots of group areas and private spaces.
Visited again to see if they had recovered from the soft opening. Well, no, is the quick answer. The convoluted order and pay procedure is still in place..And judging by the other customers questions about where to pay would suggest it's just not a logical process.
Secondly the open jar stuffed with straws accessible to everyone to put their personal DNA on the unsealed straw is not a great thing.

This is a review of the new venue for Friday's, which has now moved about 300-400m closer to the city but are still on the same side as their previous premises, i.e. it is on the right as you drive into the city on Sri Chant Rd.

My first impressions weren't good, there was no one to show us to a seat and the music was deafining. We eventually got shown to a seat after wandering around for a few minutes. We chose an air conditioned room, mainly to shelter from the music, even though the outside seating looked inviting.

The food was average and hadn't really changed from their previous establishment. The staff were ok and the beer was cold. The menu was in Thai and consisted of the normal popular Thai dishes.

I don't think I will eat there again but that is just a personal choice. Give it a try if you are passing. You may get a quiet period.

Second time here and as good as last time! Good food good but service could be better, very polite but not attractive. A very good choice of areas to sit and enjoy the food and live music. Best musician is Mr. Suk, he has such a good range of music both Thai and English. It's worth a visit just to listen to him! All places need this quality of entertainment! The only downside is the lady's toilet my wife says that it's not clean!

It was my first time to go there, and not my last. The design and layout is great, and of course the food is good. Nice place for kids, too!

Nice chill out place at the lake in Khon Kaen. I had a good Phat Kapao and an excellent blueberry frappé.
