I love Cafe Amazon. I frequent multiple branches for a cuppa after work all the time to seek some peace and quiet. I did not get that today.

This is my first time at this branch and the service was a ruckus. The servers were chatting away so animatedly they didn't notice (or don't care) that the customers were staring daggers at them.

When you think things can't get worse, it does. After a good hour chatting gleefully (juicy-gossipping I might add) they somehow think it is ok to start streaming local music on their phones. This went on for an hour, and obviously not being able to concentrate on the book I bought with me, I leave with a heavy sense of disappointment. I won't be back.
