Both the wifi and air conditioning were unusable. We moved rooms to try to get working air conditioning but the room still didn't cool off at all. The wifi was spotty anywhere outside the lobby. The staff were nice and friendly but unable to resolve the issue. The location was nice being in the city center but I wouldn't recommend it.

Lovely staff and superb location near the strip of ex pat bars and night market. I really enjoyed the food also. The room was spacious and bed so comfy. The hotel has everything I like besides a major flaw. The wi fi is awful. I like to connect my Netflix to the tv. The wi fi couldn’t connect to the tv and also kept disconnecting from my phone every minute. The tv is 60 inches so this is a shame. There are 6 floors and just one wi fi option so this probably doesn’t help. Apart from that everything is great, and I would have loved to stay again when next in town, however I won’t be returning unless the wi fi is improved. The hotel and its staff obviously take great pride and detail in its presentation which is superb through out so it’s a shame it’s let down by bad wi fi, which should be a relatively easy issue to fix.

3.5 stars actually.

Overall, the hotel was good looking and well decor. The service and its location were superb. All of the staffs were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel just sit in the city centre where you could shop, eat and travel around easily. Plus, the price was acceptable.

However, the accommodation was quite old, and the maintenance was just fair - not entirely clean. The flush did not work well (room 441), but luckily it still do the job after three attempts. The given toothbrush did not have the proper quality. And, the wifi signal was quite weak.

Location right in centre of town. Lovely large entrance lobby. Smartly dressed, friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Large room kept immaculately clean by lovely cleaners.
A wide choice of both western and Thai dishes for breakfast and all were continually topped up so nothing ever ran out.
Super large swimming pool.

Great position to walk around town, night market,clock tower Saturday market. Plenty of parking. We stay there very regularly not the newest hotel, but good value for the price
Staff very helpful and if problems which we have experienced will rectify immediately.
Breakfast okay, tea still not good should leave teabags for self use, can now get freshly fried eggs varied selection, newly renovated pool more family friendly but less room for just length swimming. Not heated
Live music in evening. Lifts to all floors. Room sizes good have basics amenities, no safe in standard rooms only superior a bit strange no draws
Staff knowledgeable, friendly from porters to manager, have a shuttle bus to airport by time table I can see but not used

Check in was good u0026 easy. Shower temperature was not very hot. Aircon only went down to 23 c. Breakfast was below average. Clean rooms u0026 common areas. Pool so-so, had to ask for seat cushions. Friendly, attentive staff. Now this was during the 3rd wave of Covid, so I am certain it affected the services.

UPDATE Oct. 16-20, 2020
My SO and I stayed here while looking for a home to buy. Everything was as before, but one common amenity that Was missing was an in-room safe. There was no problem but I would have been more comfortable if one had been provided.

My stay here was pleasant as were the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was adequate but not great. If I had stayed more than a week, I would probably have eaten elsewhere. Nonetheless, it was okay and convenient.
