Ok, this is the cheapest solution in Chiang Rai and probably worldwide, but it's not worth it. You can find better solutions for little money more, especially in Thailand.
Dirty, hot, without windows, uncomfortable beds, and an awful shared bathroom. Drinking water was almost boiling, no kidding.
Extremely young girls are entitled to the reception they were nice and did their best to help us: the atmosphere was quite suspicious, I do hope for them to find better work.

Worst place I ever been to. Bed bugs, cockroaches, dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, dirty room. The place smells like pee and there is a weird guy sleeping in the entrance. The vibe of the place doesn’t feel comfortable. Pay a little more and find a safer place!

Clean, good sized dorm room. Lovely balcony, very good living space for friendly travellers to make friends and explore Chiang Rai!

The staff are delightful- helpful to find good prices for tourist areas, food and transport! They will also go further, being sociable with you.

Great price but even with the aircon the room is so hot. Also when i came back from a bar at 1am someone was in my bed....... so i had to sleep in another bed that i dont know was clean and the curtain doesnt cover the length of the bed, only half.... free water tea and coffee is only in the morning not all day ive had much better Professional hostels for the same price, ill have to look around the area for a new one tomorrow.

南京虫bedbug.
It was so bad stay this hostel.
coz a lot off bedbug. but no staff at the night time then couldnt move room and tell for that.
was big problem I had bedbug allergy. after coulnt enjoy my horiday.

Had a bad experience booking for the tour. We wanted a golden triangle tour with an English speaking tourguide. However, the 1500Baht tour for 2 was not inclusive of the boat ride to Laos which does not make any sense because the Golden Triangle tour should include the boat ride and we were told by the lady that we only need to pay 30Baht at the Laos immigration. Thus, we ended up paying for a car ride to and fro and a tour guide who could barely speak any English and was not knowledgable about the Golden Triangle! Also, they also did not offer us the specific brochures with the tour details, leaving us feeling scammed! Totally not recommended unless you want to get scammed!

Booked a 4 bed dorm and give a 10 bed dorm, but the worst is that the bed was full of bedbugs! Didn't sleep all the night and killed at least (without exaggerate) 30 bedbugs, ended up trying to sleep on the common area couch
