Nice hotel. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Breakfasts were great but the evening meals never tasted as good. Enjoyed the pool and our room was serviced well. Disappointing that we asked for no smoking but they put us next to the smokers balcony. It seems that when we book through Agoda (and we've booked a few) we get the worst option of what we've paid for.

We did not get welcome drinks though mentioned in our booking. The room was good (but empty body lotion bottle). The breakfast was good but not enough things/food for Europeans (no yoghurt, croissants, pastry, honey, chocolate spread, only one kind of juices and industrial orange juice…). The staff could be more friendly in general, be it at the breakfast or the bellboy. Not smiling and not as friendly as expected. The reception staff as well, not very professional. Cold and old swimming pool, not appealing. No 7-11 around and Big C closes at 21:00, so make sure to have some snacks/drinks before that time.

Very good mid quality hotel.
I only paid 1300 baht a night. I felt that was an excellent deal. Good buffet. Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Fitness center and pool are adequate. It's close to a mall also.

Grand Vista it certainly is not front faces the main road and the back faces Big C car park. Room okay but not exceptional, found staff at this place to be mediocre, came early and asked about checking in at usual checkin time I.e. 2pm but told the room maybe ready or maybe not ehhh not something I was expecting luckly it was ready at 2pm. There is little around this place and without a car you can forget it you are stuck. Swimming pool didnt look to good and didn't bother. Unfortunately I have to say I don't envisage going back here.

- Great location, the hotel is closed to motorway Hotel just beside Big-C discount store and infront of Central department store.
- Hotel is nice. It may not look great from outside, but the room is large and meet 5stars standard.
- Staff is friendly and helpful.
- Breakfast is incredible. It has local north food and material is good quality.
Price is reasonable.
- Swimming pool is a bit too small. 3 men would be full already. Since the pool is next to the garden, some leave and bug and be found in the pool.

Good accommodation for reasonable price, clean u0026 quiet, breakfast is good for Asian and westerner, handy being across the road from the big Central Shopping Centre.

Excellent service overall. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has good amenities like pool, free pick up and drop off to things in Chiang Rai (we went to the night market). The breakfast buffet is to die for! And I highly recommend the My Day Spa u0026 Massage on the ground floor.
