Out of my entire month long trip in Thailand, this is the most memorable hostel I have stayed at. This place is sparking clean, and The beds are really comfy.
The owners First and Joe are amazing! First does cooking classes and Joe hosts games. They bring everyone together and take everyone on trips. Also I didn't know how to ride a bike and first took me to a parking lot and spent a good hour teaching me. She is one of the most kind hearted people I know. It's really important to them that they create a space where everyone is having a good time. I would highly recommend staying at Get Hi Hostel!!

Get Hi Hostel is amazing!!! I really loved staying there..First (The host) and Joe are doing an amazing job! Welcoming ever single guest with so much love and happiness..They'll make you feel like this is your home! The best social hostel I've stayed at - It's really easy to connect with all the openminded, funny and lovely people. First and Joe are going out with you, cooking for you/offering cooking classes, going on a hike and so on ❤️ It's really clean and the beds are comfortable! All in one..best hostel ???? The Get Hi Hostel is my home away from home!

I stumbled upon Get Hi Hostel when I was walking around Chiang Rai and decided to spontaneously check in for the night. First and Joe immediately invited me to join them and everyone else for a shared dinner, and made me feel right at home. What was originally intended to be a one or two night stay turned into a seven night stay.

The atmosphere was amazing, the hostel attracts a lot of positive people, the rooms and beds were clean and First and Joe became not just hosts, but also friends by the end of my stay. They also hooked me up with a great moped rental -- the bike was well maintained and a lot less dodgy than other bikes I've rented for the same price. Plus, the avocados with breakfast were lovely.

I'll definitely be coming back again soon. If you like good vibes, kind people, cleanliness and a central location, this is the place.

BEST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. Shouldn't really call "get hi" a hostel, more like a home. The owner is an absolute diamond. She went above and beyond every day to make mine, and all the other guests stay an absolute pleasure. If you are coming to Chiang Rai, don't even hesitate about booking a room here. The place is immaculately clean, beds were super comfy, bathroom/showers spotless and the communal area is brilliant. Please show the owner some love and support her by staying here, you wont regret it.

You won't find a better hostel than this to stay in Chiang Rai. Extremely welcoming, as soon as I arrived they got me a scooter arranged to go to the waterfall. Very family friendly and community vibes. Great atmosphere! BBQ, cooking class and they made sure that we all stuck together when we went out to enjoy the evening. The communal space downstairs was perfect to mingle and make new friends. The bathroom was super clean and the beds with private curtain were very comfortable and ideal! Make sure you go with a sense of fun and eagerness to hang out and chill with others and you'll have the most amazing time! I'm definitely coming back!

Easily the best hostel experience of my backpacking experience! The place was sparkling clean, the breakfast was 24/7, the dog is the most instagramable thing I've ever seen.. and that's just the base of it! The owners First and Joe are two of the greatest people you could ever hope to meet while traveling. They go out of their way to make sure you have whatever type of trip you are looking for. Honestly if you seen ANY bad reviews of this place it's likely bc that person is just super lame. This hostel is super social and their is an event every night.. if you choose not to participate, that's your own fault! Literally was having such a great time that I almost got a tattoo of the place.. maybe next time!

This is the best Hostel I’ve ever stayed in, no other hostel does and will ever compare to Gethi.
First and Joe are just super welcoming, incredibly cool, helpful and funny people who made me and all the others really feel like we’re home.
Thanks to the offered free day activities such as trips to waterfalls or hot springs, I definitely saw more of Chiang Rai than I would have if I stayed at another place.
We had great dinners together, played games, watched movies, celebrated New Year’s Eve, listened to music, had deep talks and made lifelong friendships.
This Hostel simply made me fall in love with Chiang Rai! I will always be thankful.
