Friendly helpful staff, nice big rooms, good pool area and lots of accommodation/room sharing options. Very nice hotel, very reasonably priced.

My name is Nida, I stayed at De Hug hotel on 29 Oct - 02 Nov for 4 nights. Hotel is beautiful and clean. But service is very poor. They assigned our room in front of elevator which is noisy all the day. On the top floor of my room, can heard the walking step very loud. In the room has the small balcony which they install the air condition coil next to the bedroom. When compressor working, it's make a noise again. I want come here to relax but I can't sleep. I asked front desk to change room. They never try to looking the new room and said only we are fully booked. I come to Chiang Rai 2 times a year. I will not choose this hotel any more.

Great service, some of lamp on the room is flashings
If you want to use swimming pool you have to carry your own suite if not they have for rent

- small bathroom
- television is not clear

Patkaphrao breakfast is good

Staff member (male) was rude and really unhelpful informed us we were not allowed to leave our luggage for the day after we checked out until our bus because we were refusing to go on a tour! In the end we ended up paying to go on the tour!!! The rooms look like a converted hostel with lots of empty room. Bathroom was not nice shower was however warm and powerful. Good location.

I stayed here for almost a week and found the room and place very comfortable. It was a great experience. The room prices are a lot less expensive than you could imagine. The hotel room is pretty big and the design is very nice. I met all those friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the center of Chiang Rai. Highly recommended if you are traveling there.

The place was very clean and the staff could not have been better! They were so friendly and helpful at every aspect of our stay from parking the car to check out and everthing in between. The breakfast included in the room price was better than most hotel buffets here. The outdoor pool was a bit shallow and small but very clean. It is fairly near most places you would want to visit with plenty of parking. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit the area.
