I had a great time there. It’s kinda hidden and also relax place. Relaxing live music, ‘cheap food’ and also great atmosphere close to the center. Totally worth it from
Tuesday until Thursday. Fried chicken and beef cashew rice are the best. The live shows are amazing if there is a group partying.

On a Monday weekday night it was relatively quiet and not all the stalls were open. You can get some food at the bazaar where it seems like most locals go for the "Hot Pot" set meal price ranges from 120B to 150B depending on what selection you make etc. You can order local Thai dishes like Pad Kaprow, Pad Thai etc.

Prices for food are not super cheap and taste is average but this is compensated by variety as well as atmosphere.

Best to visit on weekends when more stalls are open.

It is unfortunate that the bazaar is not as lively as it once was compared to previous reviews. We wandered upon the area on a Sunday night to find that less than 50% of the shops were operational. Wishing the best for the shops that were affected by the current situation.

Very nice and affordable food and drinks. Very relaxed market to eat, drink and enjoy the Chang Rai night life.

Visited this market last may 2022. Open at 6pm and closing earlier at 9pm cause of COVID restrictions. Most shops were closed. Very few shopping options. Very quiet. I bought some souvenirs at very affordable prices. You may also enjoy some tasty local meals in the food court nearby. One of the spot of the city center to visit with hopefully more animations from June 1.

The seafood soup from the stall in my photo was thoroughly underwhelming for 80 baht.

The cold beer made up for it to an extent, however.
