Wonderful experience! The artwork is very beautiful and covers a wide variety of styles. What’s even more impressive is that it’s all done by the same artist. We were fortunate enough to arrive when his assistant was on lunch, so we got a personal tour by Wattana himself. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, discussing art techniques, travel, and life. Highly recommend if you are an art lover. A hidden gem in Chiang Mai!

The Wattana Art Gallery was one of my highlights in Chiang Mai. It is a beautiful space with an incredible range of works. We met the artist, who was very welcoming and spent time explaining his artworks and the development of his art to us. We loved it so much that we purchased signed prints of some of his artworks.

Amazing artwork, really inspired! A great showcase of the different genres of watanna's work! 100b entry for foreigners. We were lucky enough to visit on a day when he is was at home and he showed us around and answered all questions. A real treat! Beautiful work!

We doubted whether we wanted to enter bc of the entrance fee, but is was definitely worth it! The artworks were amazing and there was a wide variety of different styles, still all by the same artist. He even designed the gallery itself. He was there teaching his students when we visited so we had the chance to ask him questions about his work, but he was happy to accommodate. If you're into art/painting we can definitely recommend going here!

I love this gallery!! Wattana Wattanapun explores textiles, hand made paper, oil paint, and acrylic paint, all while while traveling the world, resulting in an amazing collection of find art rooted in tradition, yet flowering into an invitation to consider the contemporary world around you. Sure, it's a hundred thb, but I think it's worth it. It is set back in a neighborhood, which gives it a private feel. The art presented here represents a large part of this man's story and how he has navigated through his life - and he is generous enough with his time to share it with you! I received a personal tour from Wattana and we ended up talked for hours and art and life. I think this is a must-visit in Chiang Mai for those interested in the arts.
