Rooms feel old and the overall experience is like being in a cheap roadside motel from American movies. But! They have a nice open corridor that faces not the road, but some small houses' roofs and trees - it's a good place to sit there in the evening. As for social life - well, I don't see too many people here, so it's not like you'll have a bunch of backpackers talking stuff in the common areas all day long. Also, I should say that they have air conditioning and geckos. One was hiding in my room when I'd checked in.

AVOID this terrible hostel,the fat girl at the reception is very rude, lazy to work and bad manner to guests, her nickname is Ann.
Moreover, the room is very old,no maintenance!
The tap water here is so disgusting,super dirty and the smell of metal is very strong, dangerous for your health,it is pure underground water without any purify.

Amazing place. Clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and puts love in to what they do. Rooms are spacious with a balcony. Everything you need, in a lovely part of Chiang Mai. I will stay here again without a doubt.

Annie is a star at the helm and the place is perfectly located in the middle of Santitham. Best price is for longer stays.

Service by on duty people was disinterested. Room not very clean. Our room smelled of sewer gas.
