An absolute gem and a great find. Best takes the street food to fine dining levels. Food is so beautifully decorated and yes it is done for every single order. Taste is also a 10.
Just cannot be missed when visiting Chaing Mai.

I highly recommend this place! Really good soul food! (My favorite is burger and pasta ????). It's the best 89baht burger I've ever tried btw.
Everything is fresh, kitchen is clean and chef is neat ????????
It was pure joy to come everytime, cause food was always tasty no matter what you take.
Friendly waitress always so sweet to me! I already miss you guys and I can't wait to come back to your Steak House ????????

Came around 9pm and they only had duck steak left. Delicious. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Served with mashed potatoes and sauce. Worth the 189 baht.

This place is a hidden gem!
The chef is honestly amazing and the food comes out as a masterpiece plus the taste is incredible! Been here many times already it's a favourite for me in Chiang Mai, the service is always very friendly and there is a market to look at while you wait for your food. Perfect ????????

I think this place is the best steak in Chiangmai compared to what I have been ate before. Very good on price and quality ingredients. I would recommend if you guys come to visit Chiang Mai. This place you must try. Nice and beautiful decorated. Nice and friendly staffs. Sometimes little slowly foods but it's really valuable to wait for a greatest tastety foods.

Steak Bar Chiang Mai has been on our list of places to try and it was fantastic! Duck u0026 Pork steaks grilled to perfection and beautifully presented... in a Night Market setting with quality you would expect from a 5-star restaurant. Total cost for our two meals... less than $10 USD!

UPDATE: And we have now been back.... It's been several months of lockdown limiting travel but we finally made it back to Chiang Mai. We're happy to see Steak Bar still surviving in what has been a difficult year for small restaurants in Thailand.

Steak Bar remains a fantastic dining experience. They work magic in the tiny kitchen and deliver superbly delicious with complete attention to every detail of presentation. All at an amazing price and friendly Thai hospitality.

Do yourself a huge favor and put this place on your "must try" list if/when you visit Chiang Mai!

The Steak Bar is a stall within the night market food center. It is tucked at the back. Seats are limited and you'll have to wait for your food during the peak hours because the kitchen is small and most of the cooking is done by one chef. There are three assistants that help around. However, if you can wait, it is well worth it. Excellent food for the price. Presentation and plating was also quite unusual for a place like this. Five stars from me and recommended.
