I met a large group of people at Shewe Wana for a delicious dinner and had a fun time. With a colonial-type feel and a garden in the back, it was quite a lovely place and the service was especially friendly and helpful.

I ordered the tempeh wrap with peanut sauce, along with a butterfly pea flower drink. I very much enjoyed it, though the portion was a little small. Lucky for me, I was able to taste some other foods, including an interesting salad, all of which were really good.

I'm ready for some more right now! I'm sure it would be nice to stay in their hotel.

My family and I had an excellent experience in ""Shewe Wana Suite Resort. The rooms here are so spacious clean hardwood floors. Nice and quite after a day in the busy city. The suite was well apportioned. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few nights and every night we would be discussing how much we were looking forward to the breakfast.

Food was delicous and reasonably priced as were the drinks. The glazed brick interior and high ceilings give it a nice urban loft feel. We got off the night train from Bangkok and headed straight there for breakfast.

The hotel is somewhat of a leafy oasis in busy Chiang Mai so I'd highly recommend it if it's a peace of mind you are looking for. All the sites and restaurants etc are a short drive away. Cheap and easy tuk-tuk to the temples/night markets. Top class service. The rooms spotlessly clean and tidy. I would request an upper floor room and the rooms on the upper corners (21 and 29) look the best.

The room is very rustic wooden doors that do not seal tight against bugs of the weather. The rooms are full of character and very comfortable with plenty of eco friendly natural products such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We loved this hotel and found it a great value. Free Tuk Tuk every night to the night markets.

Our suite was (in my wife's words) super cute. The service is outstanding. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few nights and every night we would be discussing how much we were looking forward to the breakfast. I highly recommend the Shewe Wana for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

I especially appreciated the free use of a room on arriving at 11 am from a long flight. The rooms are full of character and very comfortable with plenty of eco friendly natural products such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was different and awesome. Will definitely recommend this resort.
