Nice large room with large comfortable bed, had fridge and decent wifi, rooms are listed as with balcony but they are quite small , swimming pool was nice but again small and kept locked , had to ask for it to be opened maybe because of after convid and still quiet, nice friendly staff, in good location if you like to be close to many bars etc , walking distance to night bazzar etc

Nice and clean. Great location, walking distance from the weekend night market/walking street market, night bazaar, and several others markets. Staff speaks enough English to get you where you need to go and are very polite and helpful. I took off one star because the doors need better sound proofing. Due to the design of the hotel which has the doors facing an open area that leads to the street, you can hear many sounds coming from the street. Other guests closing doors are the worst, I am a very light sleeper and I get woken up every time someone closes their door.

Great location, easy to walk to the old city or the main restaurant/bar area for tourists, or the river/night market. A better hotel generally than I expected it to be. Seems to be quite well run and maintained. Decent buffet breakfast. Comfortable room. Pretty good price given its location.

Many of the staff are great, although I had an irritating check-out when the receptionist checked with housekeeping and said "a towel is missing", which really irked me.....I just said it wasn't, walked away and passing through 15 minutes later she told me "okay, they found it". Bad training in terms of the way it was said?

Parking round the back of the hotel via a very narrow soi made almost impassable when I arrived due to inconsiderate drivers. But the parking guard was helpful.

Would I stay again? Not too sure really

Very nice place. Good breakfast buffet where they make your eggs any way you want them. Good rooms - But the wifi is not. Try the drinks in the burger bar, they are surprisingly good and at a fair price. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel, quite quiet when sitting in your room, which is nice considering you are on a main road. The rooms were slightly dated and the mattress were quite hard to sleep on. No bath available, only a shower, where the shower head only reached chest height and couldn't be adjusted!
Reception staff were really pleasant and were always opening doors for you to go through. Loads of information leaflets in the reception area of you were not sure where you wanted to go. WiFi worked most of the time.
Clean hotel.

I liked the decor, its maybe not for everyone ones liking. A bit of a safari theme. Great central location and it's nice to chill out at the pool. The beef burgers are the best in town. The only real issue is the hot water is a bit hit or miss. Great value for the price!

As everyone says the hotel is getting up there in age. Our initial impressions weren't great but the longer we stayed the more we liked it. You have to get over that things aren't shiny and new like many hotels in Thailand but once you do you'll see how clean and tidy the room is, and even though the shower is very dated it's functional. Now for where the hotel excelled: best breakfast in the 3 weeks we spent in Thailand, location is very close to the night bazaar and restaurants, room was very clean as stated, the price was reasonable-included breakfast and free transport from the airport, and staff was fantastic. Our air conditioner malfunctioned the first night and someone from maintenance was sent within minutes. He could not fix it without parts so we were relocated to a similar room. There will be some noise outside as it is right by a busy road but it dies down around midnight, it never affected our sleep. This hotel won our award for underdog in Thailand and we really hope the staff can keep up the care of the building as it's a gem.
