Too much is not enough. What that really means you can experience yourself when you walk through this market. it is very exciting, a huge joy to explore all those textures and impressions. Are you prepared to be surprised. Beware of some of the images you will see maybe or not very pleasing to Westerners eyes. There are some raw meat-stands those will test your senses.

A great little local market, that's very popular for fresh produce and dried goods. There are some prepared food vendors; think spring rolls, dumplings, juice bars. A lot of cooking classes visit this market to grab their ingredients, so I can get quite crowded in the late mornings with groups of tourists. It's a great dose of local culture. Definitely worth a walk through.

We went here to pick up ingredients for our cooking class and learned so much about the ingredients we would soon be using. The selection was great and it wasn't overrun with folks all over the place. It was nicely situated in the city's walls too.

You can find fishes, meats, fruits and vegetables as well prepared foods here. You can also find spices and packaged dried fruits too. A few self served washing machines and a dryer are found around the back of this market.
