By far the best restaurant in Chiang Mai with huge portions and cheap prices.
Staff and owner very friendly and will change anything to your liking.
A really fun and filling memorable experience for all my family. Really excited about our return visit next week.

only been to a rooftop bar. it's great. go for a drink, not a meal and you will be happy

This review reflects my personal experience with Green Fox restaurant only. Others may have had better experiences.

Frankly, I’m surprised to see it has a good rating as it does here because my experience was not favorable. First, the menu items seem overpriced. By way of example, I ordered a side dish of cauliflower fried in butter. The amount of cauliflower I received sat comfortably in the palm of my hand. There were maybe a half a dozen small florets. Yet I was charged 66 baht for this dainty amuse bouche. More than entire meals on the street. My main dish of chicken breast in a coconut curry sauce included two chicken tenders, each about the length of my thumb. More significantly, there was a foreign item in my main dish. Just an inedible piece of paper, but still...

Given the otherwise high marks given this restaurant by others, I must assume I had an outlier experience that is not characteristic of the restaurant. But it was offputting enough for me to cross it off my list.

The food was more as adequate. Great portion and tasted very good. I asked the owner why Mr. tony scott writes such a dachshund, yes, no wonder, if he has only ordered a small portion of goulash and red cabbage, he did not want to eat a mashed potato. I can only recommend it highly. Also for families. I was there with my family. And we felt comfortable.

Ordered a Schnitzel with potato salad for 250 THB. Got a plain schnitzel without potato salad (or any kind of salad nor any other stuff). Absolutely disappointing - not to mention about the taste.

Extremely disappointed with this place. The food was terrible and way way over priced. Price or a German beer was higher than in Europe, 3 times the price of a local beer. Even the local beer was twice the price. The shnitzel (pride of the place) was greasy, bad chips, frozen vegetables (which chef referred to specifically as fresh when asked, then said it's better than fresh vegetables), place is a dive. Sorry, give this a miss.

Two people working that spend more time in the back-out of site- then giving their one table any king of decent service.When they do get around to any type of service,they will ask you over and over and over again if you want a food item after saying "no" a few times already. Extremely small portions-even for Thailand-made the entire experience forgetful.
Too be honest,the food was not terrible,but I would not recommend to either friends or family!
