It's such a tragedy that this place has closed. Once a very amazing five star resort. Every time I come here it's astonishing even when it's closed.

Wow ???? absolutely fantastic resort. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. The Rooms are immaculate..! Lots of different restaurants to choose from.
As the resort spans over acres of land the free buggy service is fabulous, they pick you up and take you to anywhere in the resort.
The resort itself has some amazing sights/ buildings to see.
This place was absolute gem to find, it's no wonder it was voted amongst the top ten hotel/resorts.

It was an amazing and magical getaway for us. The grounds are beautiful, the craft village grannies were skillful, thoughtful and kind to teach us and share their story with us. Our free upgraded deluxe villa 35 was a palace room with a king bed, indoor jacuzzi, downstairs living room and kettle. The campus was nice to bike around. We got to enjoy the steam sauna room coed style in the nearly empty resort and swim in the beautiful infinite pool. The breakfast buffet was the most exquisite and accommodating for vegans. The staff was super generous, friendly and accommodating. We borrowed a lighter for incense and they let us checkout later, browse around before our room was ready and offered us a nice discount for our day visitor to join us and stay the night. It was nothing less than magical. We plan on having an annual retreat back here to connect to nature, abundance, peace and earthy luxury. It felt like a trip back in time to Lanna kingdom or a chapter of a thai mythology book. Wish we could stay longer. Also, the reception was so kind to bring our grab food order into our room though we didn't order any room service due to their limited vegan offerings. Definitely recommended for romantic getaway, groups, families, solo or any travel you want!
Just wish there were more plates/ silverware for in room dining and maybe simple cooking. Then we'd never have to leave...

This property is unlike anything I have ever seen. Located a short drive from the center of the city and situated around rice fields is a compound made up of exquisite, unique buildings and villas of all different styles. It's almost too difficult to describe and must be seen to be believed. Our family of four stayed in two very private 2-floor villas with an unbelievable amount of space and beauty surrounding each. Because everything is so spread out, you have to call a buggy to pick you up, but the service is prompt and they never kept us waiting. The breakfast is held in a regal building that looks like it would entertain royalty. The food choices were plentiful and delicious. Our girls (ages 12 and 15) spent some time with local women doing handicrafts, and we quite accidentally stumbled across their albino water buffalo and its keeper, who were happy to have a visit and pose with the kids for photos. My friend and I took an hour run around the property one day, just as much for exercise as to view the grounds, buildings and all the fascinating things there are to see. Last but not least, the service was beyond 5 star...they truly go out of their way to make sure everything is just right for their guests. For a most unique stay you will not experience anywhere else, I highly recommend the Dhara Dhevi.

The gift shop has so much in the way of lovely jewelry and fine collections of silver and gold adornments. Rooms have views of gardens or rice paddies and are filled with artifacts, Thai silks, and local hill-tribe textiles. Nice atmosphere for taking pictures in front the hotel but you cannot go in to the hotel, they keep privacy for their guests.
