Ordered flatwhite, but don't think they know how to make proper flatwhite here. Coffeeu200b was not good.

The staff, while not busy, just watching YouTube and turned the sound out loud. Pretty annoying
Maybe she is the owner .

Not very good place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.

The cafe is nice and the price of drink were ok. Cheesecake is so good!
Only the barista talked a little bit too loud with her customer (maybe he is regular customer or her friend)

The ISTY-branded hotels are quickly gaining a reputation for quality designs at reasonable prices. With excellent use of spaces, the ISTY hotels in Chiang Mai have an enclosed yet open feel to them, with excellent use of natural earthy colours and a feeling of modern rustic.

The Book Thief Cafe (and Bistro/Bar) is adjacent to the hotel within the compound. It echoes a European cellar and rooftop vibe with a brick house that uses the space to create the feel in various sections. The cafe opens at 9am and closes at 6pm and their bar opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm. These timings are correct as of 2021, March 23rd.

The balcony bar area has two sections on the 2nd floor: an intimate living room feel to the enclosed section, and a relaxed al fresco feel to the balcony section.

The cafe has a modern feel attached to the modern rustic part of the seating area, which includes an enclosed tiny library study area with a desk and book section. From here, one can walk upstairs to the bar, or proceed outside to their al fresco food/drink area, which leads also to the hotel’s spacious lobby, and pool area.

A great way to spend several hours reading and relaxing, and a nice respite from the bustle of traffic right outside in this busy area of Chiang Mai.

Relativity new Cafe. Same ownership as the hotel next door. Unfortunately, they don’t offer imported beans. If that don’t matter to you then it’s a cool place. Nice decor. I like that they retrofit on the existing structure, which was the traditional two story home you usually find in Chiangmai

Love its size, interior u0026 exterior. Plenty of car parking lot ( Chiangmai standard lol ) pretty much awesome !
