Happened by this place on a bike ride when the hunger hit. Cheap, Tasty, Fast, and Friendly.
Lots of places to lock a bike up either in view, or around the corner.
Looks and feels like an American diner, but open air and outside, although covered. You sit at the bar and pay when you order. We were there in the rain and enjoyed every dry minute. They also had a fan to keep air moving.
The staff was smiley and friendly. We ordered the veggie-burger for 70 baht. After looking at menus around town, we found this to be a steal of a cheap meal. No sides for us, although they had lots of options (including chili-cheese fries and milkshakes).
The food came out very fast. Not a fancy place, but that wasn’t a bad thing. The veggie patties were definitely homemade with obvious beans an big hunks of mushrooms. The condiments were kept cold, which sounds weird to add until you’ve eaten around Chiang Mai and ever tried to use hot mayonnaise.
The had a really big menu for such a small place. We were impressed and will surely be back again. Maybe even for a cheap milkshake (70 baht).
No toilet was available, but wasn’t really expected. They did have Free WiFi, which was kind of surprising at a take-away / bar service spot.
Would recommend. u003d)
