Sunday Roast lunch: Archer’s offers a traditional roast on Sunday’s (noon to 8pm). You can choose from Top Round Beef, Lamb, Pork (with crackling), Chicken, and even Mushroom Nut Loaf. What you get is a generous helping including two well-prepared Yorkshire puddings (difficult to get right at a restaurant), potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, and a generous boat of gravy on the side. This is traditional pub fare that you would expect to get in the UK, but with the advantage of being in Chiang Mai. This is a must when you need a roast in Thailand but don’t want to go to the trouble and expense of making it yourself!
Overall Archer's is a good place to get a pint and some traditional pub food in Chiang Mai. Their breakfasts are also excellent; the FEB is huge, with the appropriate amount of grease.
They do have some Thai options, but I don't come here for Thai... but I hear reports that it is pretty good.
