Snake Farm Ko Samui

Small farm with snake shows. There are multiple snakes, as well as scorpions, lizards, rabbits and even a large crocodile, all found on the island of Koh Samui itself. We could touch the non dangerous snakes and even had a python in our neck during the farm tour. However, the animal cages were really too small. The guide was friendly but very bad to understand (bad English). We thought 150 THB pp for just a farm visit was rather much.

Yes it's true. The reptiles are not kept in their natural habitat. But to be clear, the place is run by the son and he has caught most of the snakes that had entered his house and put it on display. Overall, a must have experience. You get to hold the snakes and scorpions. A family run snake show that is crude at heart

Really good time, the people are super pleasant, show is fun with scorpions, centipede and lots of other scary stuff. You get to tour the whole place to see how they work it. It’s run by a family that look out for the creatures. Definitely recommend, it worth the trip. Prices can be high, so negotiate with that in mind.

It's quite an experience, at first you are shown around a number of dirty cages with various animals imitating death. It's amazing that the authorities haven't closed this place just on the condition of the tanks/cages alone... Anyway, you will be finally guided to an arena where the show takes place. The show itself is quite impressive and worth the trip. Don't sit to close to the rail if your are squeamish. I suggest you take this trip on a rainy day, otherwise stay at the beach....

The show is nice but for the rest it's not really worth it. No explainations. No light(take your flashlight to view inside the cages !)
The animals have no comfort at all. Smala cages that are rarely cleaned...
