The owner, Alex is an amazing host,
The food is delicious - every dish, was excellent,

When visitting Mordin, I recommend not skipping the following -
Fried rice with veggies, pineapples and nuts,
Veggie Pad Thai,
And the soups with the soft tofu, especially the "clear soup", full of greens and happiness :)

This place makes some incredible food. It was highly recommended by a couple we came across and it did not disappoint. Everything is made from scratch and the fish is very fresh. Get the deep fried pepper fish and you will be impressed

They say they are open at 10am.

So, we thought, island time! ????

We went at noon….

Still closed. Very sad.

The cocktails were delicious but the garlic pepper deep fried fish was the best I ever had. I asked for a side of fresh Thai chilli and oh my goodness. Absolutely. Amazing. Hands down the best fish I’ve ever had, and I’m a chef so. The host is lovely and friendly and the open air atmosphere is to die for. This place should definitely be ur first stop on koh samui.

The best Thai food we have ever tried, very authentic village style. Fish and prawns are the highlight, very fragrant and fresh! Prices are very reasonable for the quality that you get. The family who owns the place are very friendly. This place is a gem.

I've spent years travelling around Asia and have had some amazing food. The owner is super friendly and accommodating and his family run restaurant makes some of the most delicious food I've had in Thailand.
Can definitely recommend.

After spending a year in Thailand I can honestly say that I have eaten a lot of great food, Thai food has always been a favourite of mine, but my favourite place to eat is The Mordin Restaurant, close to Laem Sor Beach. The food is first class and every dish they have served me so far has been a perfect example of how Thai cooking should be done.

The Restaurant itself is set away amongst a backdrop of coconut trees and other beautiful greenery, I would describe it as traditional, charming and romantic.

The staff are very pleasant and speak good English, the menu has a choice to suit everyone and on ordering food, you are asked how spicy you would like it, I personally find that a nice touch as I don’t like my food too spicy.

If you are visiting Koh Samui you have to try this Restaurant.
