A small to medium scale size hotel. Minimal service and friendliness from the staffs at the reception. The rooms provide the basic essentials, clean and are comfortable although I found two tea bags in the kettle to my dismay. The bar and restaurant at the poolside with the green landscape make up for the service and room. The staffs at the poolside bar u0026 restaurants are friendly and helpful. Nice ambience to chill out in the evening.

Lovely little hotel, staff are brilliant always helpful, if there is any language issue they find someone to assist. Peter (manager) is in the public eye most mornings asking if all is ok. Benz on reception is always smiling and very helpful. Our room was one of the villas, great sized clean room, only wished the towels was changed daily, very small thing to say for such a great friendly hotel. Ping the massage lady is very good and knows her craft, she knew just by looking that I had a lower back issue and treated me sensitivity. Overall a great new year's break.

If you are looking for a quiet room and pool side where you can relax, this is probably not the hotel you are looking for. Most rooms faces the main road and the doors do not insulate noise from the roads. The pool is standard you would expect from Mercure but a lot of people smokes around the pool makes it quite irritating. Breakfast choices was quite limited. Reception staff appeared tired and overworked as well.

The hotel is located 2km south of Lamai beach, in quite a secluded bay.
The hotel is split into 3 levels, as you walk in you go into reception, then down a flight of steps to the resteraunt abs then down a further set to the pool area.
The bedrooms are all located in two blocks over 4 floors, and access is by stairs, as they don't have lifts.
The bedrooms are quite spacious , with very large beds, about the same size two double beds, and a separate bathroom.
The shower can be a bit hit and miss, the water starts off hot, then goes very cold half way through your shower.
The pool is of a fair size with plenty of sun beds around for you to relax on.
Their is also a gym and a beach side massage area, which is very good.
The food is not of the best quality for a 4 star hotel, but if you don't mind quick poolside snacks then this is fine.
Overall it is a pleasant hotel if you are looking to just chill and get away from it all.

A very nice little Hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well tended. The surrounding area is extremely beautiful. The staff is very friendly and competent. The food is excellent. I would love to come back.

A little out of the main area of Lamai, but still good accommodation, the staff are all very welcoming and friendly, special mention to the pool bar staff, who were wonderful to us during our stay, making sure we were always had cold drinks on hand.
The beds are huge but a little hard for us.

This hotel is very run down outside and inside. Our room was very dirty, the head of the shower was covered in grime, the corners of the shower were black and filthy. There were greasy finger prints all over the glass in the bathroom and onto the balcony. And to top it off our ‘superior sea view room’ looked out on to a trashy grass patch that was filled with rubbish and over grown and could hardly see the sea. There was trash on the shore. The water in the shower kept going hot/cold and the power of the water kept going from hard to barely drizzling every 20 seconds. An extremely poor attempt at a 4 star hotel. And was extremely disappointed spending our last night in Thailand at this place.
